H.L. NOCTE OBDUCTA are back with full force! I guess the intense and unique masterpiece "Schwarzmetall" will always be my favourite NOCTE OBDUCTA album, but "Irrlicht" is for me their strongest release since 2003's "Galgendämmerung". It is more rough than I kept them in mind, the songwriting is more comprehensible and less avantgarde but epic anthems like "Zurück im bizarren Theater" or the final highlight "Noch" are all the more effective and soulful. Beautiful black art! Favorite track: Noch.

With their 13th album "Irrlicht", Nocte Obducta continue where "Nektar" left off but in an unpolished yet expected highly lyrical manner. Honest and incomparably more ruthless than in the past, they lose hope maybe once too often.
